7-Day Itinerary
Days 1–2: Bergen Norway’s second-largest city, home to the colourful wooden Bryggen wharf — a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Ride the Flåm Railway through waterfall-filled gorges (one hour) — one of the world’s most scenic rail journeys. Spend the afternoon exploring the village of Flåm and experiencing the quieter side of fjord life.
Days 3–4: Sognefjord Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, stretching 204 km. Cruise through the fjord with snowy mountains and waterfalls on both sides, stopping at the village of Balestrand. Consider spending a night at a fjord farm for an authentic taste of Norwegian rural life.
Days 5–6: Geirangerfjord A World Heritage fjord, home to the Seven Sisters and the Suitor waterfalls. Take a cruise to see the waterfalls up close — the mist and roar are overwhelming. Climb to the Dalsnibba viewpoint (1,500 m) for a full panorama of the fjord.
